
Dave is a retired Police Officer who served for a total of thirty-nine years, he considers himself to be very fortunate that during his career he spent thirty-four years working and training operational police dogs.
Dave is an expert witness, and is listed in the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and provides advice for the judicial system, specifically in respect of the Deployment and Training of Police Dogs and the Use of Force in the deployment of dogs to apprehend offenders.
Dave qualified as an Accredited Police Dog Instructor in 1990 awarded by the Home Office Standing Advisory Committee.
During his career, Dave had the opportunity to work with Police Dog Handlers from almost every Police Dog Section in the UK, and has been as far as China to give presentations and training advice in respect of General Purpose and Specialist Detection Dogs.
Despite being retired from the service, Dave uses his vast public facing experience, interpersonal skills and canine knowledge to deliver our dog safety training programmes as key part of the DogSEE team.
